ADE-5F Series Armoured Gland
For use with steel wire armoured, steel wire braided, steel tape armoured, braided marine shipboard and lead sheathed cable, ADE-4F Series Armoured Glands are installed:

To provide a flameproof seal on the inner jacket and a weatherproof seal on the outer sheath of the cable

Please note this product has been revised to comply with IEC 60079-0: 2011 Ed.6.

Suitable for the following cable types:
Steel wire armoured cable (SWA)
Steel wire braided cable (SWB)
Steel tape armoured cable (STA)
Braided marine shipboard cable; Type P cable
Lead sheathed cable (with addition of earthing washer)

Operating temperature: -60°C to +140°C

Material:
Nickel-plated brass for superior corrosion resistance. 316L stainless steel, bronze and aluminum options available. It is recommended that a suitable lubricant is used on all threads of stainless steel and aluminum versions.

Ingress protection (IP):
IP66 / IP68 according to the method of attachment and the condition of the equipment area.
