Innovative Power Product’s conductive cable sealing breakout boot, CCB is a heatshrinkable three leg boot with precoated conductive adhesive in the legs for permanently sealing to the conductive tubing over cable cores and precoated insulating sealant in the body for sealing to the cable’s lead jacket. The CCB is an inexpensive method for sealing and mechanically strain-relieving the crotch area wherever an electrically conductive boot is desired for shielding. These boots are commonly used as a component of an oil-stop system on three-core PILC and VCLC cables.
